My daughter was formula fed and we have a very strong bond. She's my best friend. Breast feeding is not the only thing that makes a baby bond with a parent just caring for them and showing you love them does. I won't be breast feeding this baby either and I'm not worried. With me having to have a csection I'm going to need a lot of help with the new baby and a 2 year old so bottle feeding is best for us but that does not mean I will never bond with the baby.
Who says you can't have that bond??? My daughter was formula fed and I was the only one who could get her to eat at times...I honestly don't believe you can have a better bond just because you breast feed...don't be upset your baby could be feeding from it and making you think you don't have that bond but if you think that's not helping try feeding skin to skin or one on one with no one else around
Don't feel bad, your not doing anything wrong. Formula is fine for babies, if you don't feel you have a close bond with your baby then when your bottle feeding her still do it skin to skin that helps with the bonding
Don't feel bad. I didn't breastfeed my son but I'll be breastfeeding this one. You can still have that bond with constant skin to skin. Since I didn't breastfeed I would feed him with my shirt and bra off so it'd be pretty much the same and we're super close and have a huge bind he's almost 6 now and we're each others world. I'm only breastfeeding this time to save money for the first few months.
