feeling conflicted... help!

What do you ladies think about siblings not having the last name? I have my oldest daughter who has my maiden name. (Which I still have as well.) & then I have my daughter who is on the way..(2 different fathers)

I originally (& still am) going to give my daughter on the way her dad's last name. But I feel kind of conflicted & sad that my two little girls, sisters, won't have the same last name. Is it a big deal? Or am I just overthinking...?

I could incorporate my maiden name in there some how but that means it would be all over legal documents, school papers, mail.. etc & I wouldn't want her to have a double last name.

If my hunny & I were to get married. (Which is the plan) I would probably change my oldest daughter's last name to his because she sees him as a father. & he treats her like his own as well ♡ (her biological father is not involved & is a piece of you know what) But, being cautious.. if we didnt get married then they would always have a different last name... & I wouldn't have the same as my youngest.

Ugh, please give me input ladies..

I dont think theres anything wrong with it. My daughter has her dads last name and our son will have his last name also. We are getting married in December.  But growing up I had my moms maiden name and my two younger brothers shared a last name (there dads) never was an issue..

Maiden until marriage, that's my plan. :)
Its easier to change when you both agree versus trying to give her your last name if something happens and he fights it
