The cleanser/exfoliater that I've been using every day in this pregnancy is by clean&clear called "deep action exfoliating scrub". It works great and is inexpensive. Another great natural way to exfoliate is by using sea salt which has natural healing properties in it that help heal acne. Just make sure you mix it with a milky or foaming cleanser so it will easily glide over your skin. A good natural toner during pregnancy is witch hazel, I even used it before I was pregnant. As for moisturizers, there are so many good ones out there, and you'd probably need to customize one to your skin, but cliniques has some really good ones. Also, another great product to spot treat acne is tea tree oil. I lightly put this on my face about once every week or so. Don't be fooled by expensive products, in school we had to do extensive research on product ingredients and most of the expensive ones contain the same ingredients as products you can find in your local drug store under different ingredient terms.
Ps. Yes benzoyl peroxide is safe.

I use the Aveda outer peace foaming face wash as well and it works great. All natural ingredients and non irritating. I use the Aveda outer peace spot treatment with it. Clears up the nastiest of blemishes without over drying. I hope you find a method that works for you! I know exactly how you feel

Ps benzol peroxide is safe. Like all medication in pregnancy is to be used with caution cos u just dont know how ur body may react! However I personally believe the azeliac is better than benzol.

I'm an esthetician, and I would suggest starting a good routine for your skin. Cleanse, tone, exfoliate and moisturize. Do these four steps every morning and night and I'm sure you'll see some improvement. Try not to be too hard on yourself though because acne in pregnancy is hormonal and there is only so much you can do for hormonal acne... The good news is it will clear up eventually. Also drink LOTS of water, this helped my acne a lot... It's the best way to flush out toxins in your body that contribute to acne.

Ps. Don't use products containing retinol or salicylic acid because they can be unsafe in pregnancy if over used.
