So just went into work for my office manager to fire me!! Ughh I've been doing the best I can I have a almost 8 year old that I constantly am struggling to find someone to watch while I work.. if my moms working the days I have to then I have NO ONE to watch him. I only get paid 8 a hr so I can't afford daycare for him, my hubby works 40-60 hrs a week just to pay our bills & get groceries leaving us with little to nuthing... I have had a really hard pregnancy been to the hospital 3 times to stop labor starting at 19 weeks, morning sickness still to this day, & since week 27 I've been having  severe psciatic nerve pain but still manage to make it to work with a smile on my face, only times I missed was when in hospital ( which have drs notes from everytime) Since we make over the limit we can't get any assistance... We are struggling so bad right now idk how we are going to make it once the baby gets here ( I'm 34 weeks today) her excuse was I'm not dependable WTF if I miss its a Damn good reason ughhh!!! Sorry just needed to vent!

I was at my job just a week shy of 2 years when they fired me for " not meeting sales goals" even though I was doing the exact same goals and meeting them like i had been since they hired me....I filed for unemployment it took 4 weeks before I got it and i had to send a lot of paper work in but I got it and they didn't fight it..... I am sure that if they fired you for being preggo even though they gave some other bogus excuse that they won't fight it then and will grant you unemployment

My old job fired me for the same thingnot preggo at the time then but had 2 kids already and they kept passing the flu back m fourth to each other so id miss work then i had pneumonia and pertussis for over a month and had to miss with notes n hospital time mind u!! I filed for unemployment and i win they fought it again and i still won cuz i had the medical proof!! Hope this helps ive been there!! Chin up it'll work put!

That is rubbish! And you wont get any help of the goverment unfortunatly as i lost both my jobs but becuase my partner earns an honest living we have to put up and shut up. It really is just that rubbish. Im sure you will figure something out but it is totally unfair that she sacked you! Good luck x

If your never late and always there then your dependable. Since they fired you then you should be able to get unemployment, which may not be much but everything helps.
