first pregnancy...so confused

hey everyone, well i just found out i was pregnant with my first child. Its been very stressful since i am not exactly sure who the father of my child is. So my question is i had sex once with my ex on july 6th, but before this date i had been involved with a person for over a year and a half and kind of backslide one time to my ex...any way me and the guy (not Ex) had sex numerous of times before July 6th and after. so i was wondering if me and my ex had sex July 6th and i had an abdominal ultrasound on July 27th would i be 5 weeks? and would i be able to see a gestational sac if he is the babies father. because in the ultrasound i was told i was 5 weeks and we seen the gestational sac!!!! HELP!!!! PLEASE!!!!

Thanks everyone for the responses i am just so confused about this the doctor told me it could not be my ex when i had my abdominal ultra sound and that i had to conceive before that date for the gestational sac to be seen...

She cannot go solely on that. She will get false hope because of the dates. Just because she didn't have sex with the bf on a Monday doesn't mean his sperm wasn't still in her vagina from a couple days before. The dates are to vlose. Sperm can live for up to 7 days so it can be either guy. Just cuz she slept with one and not the other on the conception date doesn't rule the ither guy out.

Mist likely conception date us july 2nd. And long as you didnt ovulate later in your cycle. If you have a smart phone you can download the due date calculator. Its pink with a pregnant woman and a calendar on it. You can enter the due date or Lmp and it will give you the info.

I agree with mamaof4410...the only way you would be able to tell who the father is, is through DNA testing....your dates are very close to one another...either one can be the father...although you and your ex only had intercourse on that one date it only takes one time to get pregnant.

^^ Mama is right, the best you can do now is tell them both the truth and get a DNA test once you have the baby

And yes at 5 weeks all you would be able to see is an empty gestational sac.

I hate ti say this but your dates are very close. Most women ovulate about 14 to 16 days after your period.  The best thing would be to get a dna test after thr baby is born. And tell both of them NOW the truth. The longer u wait the harder its going to be. Sperm can survive inside of the vagina for up to 7 days. That's why its going to be a toss up at this point.
