My baby is here! Labour story.

I'm so happy and so in love with my little gorgeous girl :) (this is all Australian time) last night I was finding it uncomfortable to relax, finally fell asleep around 12ish then woke up at 3am and went to the toilet and wiped after I peed and found that my toilet paper was pink, and then started to slowly feel contractions.. Couldn't get back to sleep so I called the hospital and they said I could come in if I wanted to because there is a cyclone happening here and where I live is a flooding area which it has been heavily raining since yesterday.. Though I chose to stay and try and wait it out to see if the contractions would pick up, I started to time them around 5am and from 6am to 7am they were 5 minutes apart and going for about 20-30 seconds so I called the hospital again and they said to come in, got to the hospital around 8am and they put a machine on me to time the contractions.. The midwife thought that I was only in early labour so she told me to walk around the hospital, the contractions started getting so much more painful and lasted about 1 minute, I had no idea what time it was but felt this urge to push when I got contractions and at one contraction I lost my bloody show.. The midwife took me to a room and wanted to exam me and I was for sure 10 cm dilated and ready to push. I used a little bit of gas at the start to calm myself down but found breathing on my own easier for me to focus, the midwife was shocked to see how fast and well I was doing on my own and she held a mirror up for me so I could see what was happening, with a few contractions I pushed my baby girls head out by myself with no pain relief and the midwife pulled the rest of her out :) I ended up with 3rd degree stitches so I'm in a lot of pain when I move but the amount of joy and love I felt when I layed my eyes on my baby girl has made it all worth it :) she was born at 11:40 and weighed 5 pound 9 ounces, so so tiny but very healthy and gorgeous :)
