first ultrasound

I found out I was pregnant June 26, and I have yet to get an ultrasound to tell me how far along I am. Should I change my ob,  or is this normal? When I found out they estimated I was 4-6 weeks with my hormone levels.

Youre 11-13 weeks. The second trimester begins at 13 weeks, so it wouldnt be wrong to say youre 12 weeks, and next week youll be in the second trimester!

As long as the due dates given to you are around 2wks of each other then youre roght on track. For now count your weeks by when you last started your period. Its all guess work so just do that. My drs office wont do an u/s uuntil 10wks at least now but you track how far you are based off your period.

I'm 12 weeks and they haven't listened to the heart beat or given me an ultrasound. I would at least like to hear the heartbeat so I'll feel like everything is okay.

I'm just confused. People ask me how far along I am and I tell them I don't know. I'm starting to show a little . I've had 3 drs tell me 3 different due dates but nine have tried to give me a better idea. I just want to know if I'm out of my first trimester or not -___- I would think my ob would want to know so they can give me the right care.

I just got my first ultra sound a week ago and I was 9 1/2 weeks . I thought I should change my ob too but it was normal she wanted me too see at least how big the baby is instead of seeing the heart beat ..
