In law rant!

So today, I found out my in laws called cps on me and my husband for the second time claiming we're not taking our daughter to her check ups (we are), we're smoking pot (not true) and our home is a constant mess (ha please!)

So they drug tested my husband (he passed)
We had to sign off on them checking our daughter's shot records and had to check our apartment for a mess/drug evidence. His family has done nothing but caused stress in our lives and marriage. We don't even talk to them anymore because of this exact issue. I know we have nothing to hide and there is no reason for them to take our kids away but I am so beyond upset that they have to constantly drag our kids into their issues. I just can't believe they're not in our lives anymore and still manage to mess with our family with complete b*llsh*t!!!

That is sickening! I have had to different people call cps on me...one was an ex. He called cause I didn't wanna be with him and the other was my sisters boyfriend cause he doesn't like my husband. Its so horrible dealing with cps! They always go after people who are good parents but never after the bas parents!

Yep. My mom said the same thing. She pretty much saw their time was being wasted by checking us so I'm glad about that. She was even 4 months pregnant and got all excited when she saw our nursery set up and we chatted a little over mommyhood and stuff like that I just can't believe my in laws for bringing this stress on us when I'm due any day now. It's crap!

Wow that really is some bs I'd be going off on them if it was me! My mother in law is constantly causing trouble with me like calling me a bad mom in front of my kids bcuz i let my son sit in a diaper that he peed in once for 15 minutes until we got home from the park! She even threatened to call cps on me about it and i said go right ahead they'll laugh in your face! My sister had a case open with them bcuz she was abusing vicoden and they just closed her case completely a few months ago after only been open for about 3 months! They did a few drugs tests on her and stopped over a few times and that was it but she still continued to do the drugs during the whole time! I couldn't believe they closed her case! It really is messed up that they waste time on good parents and do nothing about the bad ones who are on drugs and abuse their kids!!

My sister and her husband were bad parents CPS never did anything! The good news is my mom finally talked them into signing over custody, so my mom has custody now!  :-)
My daughter got burnt on a old model night light back in January. I forgot it was plugged in and she was learning to.stand against things. I took her to urgent care and they called cps on me and made me take her to a burn Dr, it wasn't even that bad of a burn, ugh! Then cps came and done a home visit, talked to the burn Dr while at my house. I even plugged the night light in and asked if they'd like to touch it. Lol they "closed" the case. my daughter will be 1 Next Thursday. So she's at the accident stage and cps is watching for any kind of call until February 2014 then my case will be officially closed. Ugh but it makes me so angry bad parents don't get checked up on and my daughter has a accident and they watch me for a year!!!

That's so dumb. & then when parents who really are piece of sh*t parents get cps called on them, they don't do anything about it! At least not in my county in Indiana.

Yep. His younger brother's kids are the ones who need help. His brother beats his wife in front of the kids and everything but her aunt works for cps so if a complaint about them comes in she clears it. Not to mention my husband's mom hides them and claims they don't live there.

You can press charges against them for filing a false claim. They will investigate you come up with nothing then you can file it with the sheriffs office. I had to do this against someone whom decided to do this to my family. And I pressed charges.

Thats crazy ppl try to get cps involved in ppl lives that do nothing wrong but the ones that deserve to have their kids taking no one try to step in

Exactly! They said they still have to investigate though so for the next 30 days they're gonna be popping in to check on things.

They're miserable people who want everyone as miserable as them. They're mad because my husband is supporting his family all on his own with no help and they're getting foreclosed on even though they all make PLENTY of money. They just decide to buy crap instead of pay their bills.
