what should i do :(

I came to the hospital two days ago to do an anatomy scan and find out what I'm having...yay me it's a boy!! I don't mind either way what i was having but anyway they realized @21 weeks my cervix is short so i was scheduled for an immediate cerclage....surgery went well and I'm pretty much feeling normal despite now missing my tongue ring :( I'll replace it after the baby and a little discomfort i guess where my cervix is but there's no super pain no bleeding....the problem is i have a vacation planned next week...i believe I'll be leaving out of the country Friday and I'll be gone for two weeks...I've had a lot going on at home recently so i really want to go away but i asked one of the doctors today and at first he seemed ok with it but then he said he doesn't recommend i go ...idk what to do because my mother actually posed that question but i refuse to stay home when i can be away relaxing somewhere else  like i honestly need to hey away

In my opinion I think a large part of it depends on where you are going and what you will be doing. I'm sure the doctor is just worried about you over doing it, or if you're flying and excessively long flight in case something goes wrong. The best advice I can give is listen to your body. Each of us has different limitations arena our body will usually tell us if something is wrong.
