I wouldn't feel comfortable drinking alcohol and breastfeeding. But I just looked it up and non alcoholic beer helps the same. And so does red raspberry leaf tea which I have a bunch left over from when I drank it during my pregnancy

Every women produces different amounts of milk. Also the suckion of a pump isn't as strong as the mouth of an infant so don't be disappointed if its not as much as you expected

Your baby only gets 5% of what u eat and drink, at least that's what My pediatrician said. She said it was perfectly fine to have a beer or a glass of wine. Just no liquor or anything strong.

I figure it might be so little because its my first time pumping so maybe my breasts aren't use to it. Wouldn't beer make me not be able to give the milk to my baby that I pump?

I'm 3 weeks post and that's what I get usually.  I heard beer helps. I hate beer, but the other night I drank half a beer and my milk doubled!
