how did your bf/husband parents react when they found out you were pregnant

just wanted to know, my husband and I are planning to conceive however we are kind of anxious about how his mother and father would react at first... i don't think they'll be completely mad because we're married, how was your experience like

With my first daughter my partners mum didn't believe it was his because we had split up but were still seeing each other she told him to tell me to get DNA and stuff (I didnt get along with her and still don't)his dad was over the moon this time around she still wasn't pleased but his dad again is happy because we have given him his only granddaughters (my partners mum to me prefers their grandson to my daughter)

Me and my boyfriend werent  together it was official that we were not gona  get back together to but wen I found out I started crying and I told my mom and she told him and that bad part was that he was already planning to get back with his ex and when he asked me I told him yes I am and that same night he came over to my house but I didn't want nothing to do with him and like he was living with me when we were together he new my window kouldnt lock so he waited for me to fall asleep and same in threw my window and just layed there with me I was awake but I didn't want him to money I was and he told me in my ear thinking I was asleep that he was happy and that he never stopped lovin me I started to cry.  :((  but now we have a 8 month old named jayden and I'm pregnant again and I'm having a like girl I'm happy!!

My fiancée was in shock and was nervous to get "attached" for a fear of a miscarriage. At about 11 weeks, he talked about his excitement daily! Our families were BEYOND excited from day one. This is both of our first baby so they are totally ready!

I wasn't there when my boyfriend told his mother . But she's excited she makes sure I'm drinking plenty of water. When I had to go to the emergency room she was right by my side. I'm really thankful for her cause another time that I had to go to the emergency room my family member just dropped me off smh

My husband was beyond excited! We had been trying to conceive for almost 2 years so you could only imagine the excitement! I myself was in shock and couldn't believe it still! I told my mom who was in the living room to look at the pregnancy test and read me the results and she looks at the test then looks at me with a straight face and says "omg you're pregnant!" She couldn't believe it either! We called my mom in law and she was shouting out how happy she was for us and then everyone was just so happy for us!! They understood the struggle we had been going through for so long and they've all been a great support system so far : )

My boyfriends mom actually passed away 3 Years ago, but we waited to tell his dad until 12 weeks, but the whole time he knew he just waited for us to tell him . Lol

My mother in law had asked me to get pregnant soon and about 2 weeks later we got to give her the news that i was pregnant ! She was happy she cried :)

I'm worried about what his mom will say because i met her for about five minutes in..either November or December...my mother knows and is supportive she just doesn't know who the father is cause he hasn't been around recently...it'll be a big surprise when he moves into our house lol

My boyfriend's family was actually more excited than anyone else. His dad was super excited and keeps calling me the otter box for his grand baby lol. His mom was very quiet about it. But everyone else was excited as could be.

He called his mom the second it was confirmed I was pregnant,  I was sitting in the same room as him and I could hear her scream so loud! Lol she was beyond excited

My fiances mother was getting clothes before we even found out we were pregnant. What's even more scary is she was getting all girl clothes and what do you know.... we are having a little girl. His dad was happy about it but a little sad when he found out we were having a girl and not a boy lol

how awesome. I'm just skeptical about my mother in law because I don't want her stressing out I did hence to. her that we wanted to start a family soon I don't think my father in law would be as worried, I'm just not sure how they would take it at first

My dad called me foolish. My mom was happy. My sisters were too. My boyfriend was excited and shocked. My other family members were excited and shocked as well. Most knew i wanted a baby. They just arent happy about the babys father but oh well :) They're all happier now tho lol.

My husband was so happy. I cried lol and he laughed and told me it'd be okay :) he's excited for it. His parents were ecstatic too they bothered us about grand kids from the day we got married!!

My husband and i were married a year when we found out my parents were excited my husbands parents made my day. His mom said "finally" and his dad said "congratz son you work" lol

My boyfriend's mother was a bit overwhelmed. She had alot of questions about how we were planning to do everything, our futures, money etc,. His father was very optimistic. But honestly, don't worry :) Parents might be nervous in the beginning but ultimately they'll LOVE being grandparents. My boyfriend's mother is so helpful and supportive now and she is very excited!!
