Opinions on nursery :)

I would love your ladies opinions on this nursery idea! I've been looking a bit and I'm hoping to do something other than a traditional blue nursery with either a sports or animal theme. I also really like the idea of blue and yellow and maybe some green in it, which this has. Just wanted your opinions. I know it is my decision in the end but I would like others opinions as well :). Also if you have any other ideas feel free to share!

Also for me, If im having a girl Im getting her Name in wooden Letters to go above her bed, Same if i have a boy...

a girlwould be Princess but NOT Pink... and Boys would be Planes as me and my partner go to airshows from when the start in May untilll Sept every year around UK....

My mum done a Pink room with Purple spots for my sister, and had fairies so this kinda lasted for AGES... as it wasnt traditional, and my brothers was Cars (The Disney Film) and still is and he is 3. haha.

i LoVe iT!! iTs AdOrAbLe! If I am having a boy, we are doing the classic vintage fire truck theme!!! Dont you love shopping for baby???? its sooooo hard but soooo fun!!!!

I love it! With our sons room we are doing the whole baby blue Montreal Canadiens theme. DF is so excited to have aboy and is the biggest Montreal fan, so it was kind of a given that we would be doing that for a boy.

I love this as well! its my 2nd choice if i ever do have kids! I wont ever do the traditional stuff either not my thing! and i think the nursery should be something reflect you and your DH as a person and what you guys like! My hubby likes Anime so if we ever get to that point were going in that direction!

I love the set too! I am a huge star fan! I had little stars on my son's nursery but it had airplanes on them and had many different colors! I think it is absolutely beautiful!

I love the set.  Very soft and soothing.  We went with similar colors in our soon to be here son's room.  Love it.

yeah ammanda this is going to be like a make-shift nursery as well while im at my parents. were only putting what can fit (since its going to be in my bedroom) and not putting a border up, only things that can be moved when we get our own place.

saylornpipersmommy that sounds awesome! really going all out :) hahah i don't know if it will look like a stripper pole or not, it will go with the theme but i can see where it might lol.

Very cute...so soft and babyish:)  I always love the soft baby rooms but we are going for bright with ours this time:) If we have a boy, we are going to do a firestation room and paint the top half fire engine red and the bottom is going to be artifitial brick (it looks real) the "chair rail" dividing the two is going to be a real fire hose. I'll paint some old tin buckets red and yellow to put toys in and I'll hang an old wood ladder that I will paint yellow. I'm thinking about puting a real pole in the room to be a fire pole with a black cicle painted on the ceiling but I'm a little worried it will look like a stripper pole? LOL

I love it!!! We did a tropical/underwater theme (birds and other tropical things on the walls....fish all around the ceiling and hanging from the ceiling) for our daughter, and we're just gonna re-use it for our son too ...but if I was going to choose a whole new theme it would be either moon/stars or something with dragons, lol, but I love what you picked :D

i absolutly love that bed set, it is adorable, I hope you chose that one!!!  I havnt really got to set up my own nursery for my son, cause he sleeps in a nursery that was at the house before we moved in, cause we live with a friend.  i cant wait to do one though, were moving at the end of August and im so exsatic!!!

awww...i like the moon and stars theme....if i was having a boy i would stay away from the traditional sports or animals...i actually found an ocean theme i fell in love with and was going to use if it was a boy :)
