freaking out! dont know what to do..

So I posted on here before a question on if I should hold rent for my landlord until he breaks the wall in my bedroom to go into another room which will be the babys room everyone said not to hold rent because the landlord was nice enough to do that for my fiancee and I which I do agree but at this point im having anxiety attacks because  due may 4, 28 days to go! And my landlord hasnt done much, we would still have to paint the room and set it up I feel like im not gonna have time, I even lied to him and told him they change my due date to april 24 because my baby was measuring big so he would hurry the hell up and it was like he didnt care...I dont want construction going on when my baby is here, im so upset because he promised us that room, if he would of never offered it we would of moved out, but we figured it was a good idea, we love this place its cute and perfect...and now I feel like im screwed amd failed idk what to do anymore

Call the comoany and explain to them you rent. He cannot force you to live in unlivable situations. If it is cold where you are they HAVE to turn the heat back on for you and will just bill him for the service fee.

Well,  heat is something you can absolutely insist on.  

I couldn't tell from your profile where you live  but in Austin a landlord in an apartment complex (or rental house) can't add a bedroom without a permit.  I don't know if that's what's the problem here,  but you need to get that heat back on.

No, but I didnt ask him to, he offered to make the other room which like I said it was nice of him he didnt have to do that...and I appreciate it, but he told me this 4 months ago and still hasnt done anything, my house is a mess I have no where to put mt babys stuff its all over the house im going crazy, plus im 8 months pregnant and he goes amd turns the heat off my house is freezing cold right now I texted him this morning about it and he said hell stop by later well that was at 730 am it is now 730pm and its freezing in here im literally sitting here crying because everything is a mess and he dont even give a ****

Is it in  your lease that he has to modify the structural interior of the house if you ask him to?

Let him know that you will be paying rent to a middle man company. Look it up. What that means is you pay your rent but he does not see a dime until he completes his end of his contracted job. As soon as he does the middle man company will hand your paid rent over to him. These companies are put in place to protect renters in situations like this. Ive been a landlord before, every state has companies like this and its totally legal.
