I agree with all the ladies except with the ultrasound part - you have to schedule an ultrasound they didn't just give me one. They're gonna check if you have a tubular pregnancy or a regular one, they'll test you for STD's, & make you take another test to confirm the pregnancy. The first appointment isn't too bad!
1stTimeeMoney23 gave you a great answer. However, when it comes to pap smears, I was personally told by my OBGYN that pap smears are definitely not done during a pregnancy usually, but rather after you give birth. I suppose it really depends on your situation and doctor. Either way, happy pregnancy and congratulations!
Drink lots of milk and food with protein and calcium
She gave the best answer. But jus so you know the baby takes a lot of calcium away from you so your teeth are extra sensitive I got the worst tooth aches thru out my pregnancy and actually had to have about 1300 dollars worth of dental work. It was not because of the baby lol just cause I finally had dental insurance but that's why your having tooth aches. I also had tubes in my ears when I was a baby so I'm real prone to ear infections. Good luck
Theyre probably gonna ask u a lot of questions like family history, last period, etc, ur gonna leave a urine sample, they may do a pap smear, they may take blood, they will give u an ultrasound & let u hear the heartbeat, & she will probably ask u if u have any concerns & she will let u no what's safe & what's not & all that good stuff...& just fyi u can take Tylenol for ur ear ache & tooth ache.. If it's extra strength Tylenol only take one.. If it's not u can take 2.. Good luck :)
