I had natural its not as bad as everyone makes out, although its weard u forget the pain afterwards but the close enough I coupd explain is its like a Bunsen burner down there when babys coming out lol, I got told c section is worse tho cuz u have to heal f longer!
My friend had a natural birth and she said said she would do it again because the contractions are the only thing that hurts and the healing process is so much better
Im a ftm and want a natural birth too. But every one says im crazy
I found the pushing the baby out hard the contractions just make u wanna push but if ur not fully dilated then ouch yes they hurt lol the midwife tells u to stop pushing :-S
I m also planning on doing tht... Well in uk thy always try to do natural delivery unless theres a problem... I m bit scared as everyone says contraction pains are real bad... I get braxton hicks n for abt few secs i loose my breadth completely i dont know what will happen...
My best pal had a natural birth she said it was stingy but not sore, she also had a c section and she said she would go for a 100 natural births over a c section
I had my first son with no meds at all I also had to have an episiotomy. I don't think.it hurt as bad as when I broke my arm . But.everyone's.pain scale.is different
I hope I can do it,I had a marriage and a D&C and that by far was the most painful thing I ever felt. I even had my hip knocked out of place in a car accident. So I thought with feeling those before I could manage the pain of child birth. I hope that doesn't sound ridiculous
Ive had a broken back and pelvis and still managed natural so it should be ok :-)
My mom had 4 natural births and 1 c section, and she said she'd take natural anyday. I personally am horrible with pain so I got a shot of stadol. Helped to take the edge off so my body could relax enough to do what needed to be done. I'm going to try for natural this time, but I'm also keeping my options open. Good luck, hopefully you can go natural if that's your goal. :)
I did natural with my my first and definitely doing natural again this time. I had bad back pain labor but I think if I didn't have back pain labor it would be a piece of cake. Expecially the pushing I think the pushing part is the easiest and dont really hurt just stings a little when baby's head is there. It's really nice and heal quickly! My first doctor didn't think I could do it cuz I was only 19 and a ftm but I proved him wrong now my doctor with this pregnancy is real shocked I did it natural and can't belive I wana do it again lol.
Lol wow that's amazing I'm 17 and hope I can prove everybody wrong
totally worth doing it natural, even with gas or regular pain meds its absolutely worth doing. just wanted to say i'm proud of you for wanting natural and i applaud you!! i hope everything goes smoothly for you!!
i believe in you!!
you can simulate the "ring of fire" pain at home by doing perineum stretches and it will help you recognize the sensation and helps reduce chances of tearing.
First one natural (I had one shot of nubain at 4cm but made me sick) and it was tough but forgot it all right after she was born. Pushing was by far the easiest best part! I barely tore only 2 stitches healed and stopped bleeding within 2 wks. Doing it again sometime in next few weeks
I have had 2 children all natural no drugs or anything. The contractions do hurt but not unbearable. Just remember it wont last. When it comes time to really push you feel more pressure than pain. Its a rush like no other as soon as its done. I felt amazing right after, if they'd have let me I would of startes cleaning ,the hospital asap. Run laps or just anything, to use all that energy. A friend opted for C-section. She was so doped up she didnt even know her son was born, didnt realize it was her baby that was making that noise and was stuck in bed for 3 months afterwards she had to have help going to the bathroom not to mention the big ugly scar. I on the otherhand remember everything felt great. Our bodies are made to do this.
Thanx for all the support,I really needed it.!!
I wanted a drug free birth but I had 3days of labor so wen I was finely admited I caved in and got the epidueral im 17 as well and I hope u succeed :) good luck prove them wrong
Had my baby at a birthing center. Started out in the jacuzzi, but indeed up giving birth squatting. Used gravity to my benefit. Plan on going to a birthing center this time around if all goes well. I didn't have a while lot of pain, just felt a lot of pressure.
I am planning on natural if possible. And will not use any medication. I'm a ftm with twins and am praying to god I don't need a c section because that would ruin my birth experience, but if that is my only choice then I will have to do it. But like I said only if I have to. I'm 100% for a natural birth :)

Wish I was as strong as you ladies! I had one natural birth and 5 with epiduerals the pain got to much for me and my doc said my blood pressure gets to high.
I tried going all natural but my uterus does not expand so it was difficult for them to gauge my contractions outer Babys heartbeat so I had to have internal monitors put in that was the most painful so I gave in and had an epidural an hour before I had her. Still an overall good experience. I was walking around shortly after having her too.
