Baby Shower!!

When do you ladies think tha best time to have your shower is? Where I'm from we wait until a mth before tha baby is born. My due date is Oct. 20th and Im thinkin abt doin my shower on Sept. 21st and I'll be 35wks. Is that good?? I'm kind of paranoid cus I want to have one for sure. My Mom thinks I'm gonna have her 2 wks early cus its my 1st child and she did with hers lol.

Im due Oct 31st and in having mine Aug 10th. I know ill only be about 30 weeks but we have A LOT of family that live out of town and that day also happens to be my daughters 3rd bday so instead of making them travel once in Aug then again in Sept we figured we would do it all together. I think as long as you give ppl enough notice, anytime is ok to have a baby shower. It never hurts to be prepared, just in case they do come early :)
