g diapers and breast pumps

Making my registry:

What do you think of the g diapers? I'm Really wanting to use a cloth type diaper for baby but afraid if I ask for them on my registry I'm not going to like them. Are they a cheaper route to go than disposable diapers? And could the plastic or the disposable pads hurt baby? I know this is something new so I worry if there maybe be any long term affects.

Planning to breast feed what pump and bottles would be best?

I'm using gs because they have cloth and disposable inserts. No the plastic liner does not hurt the baby. Neither do the inserts.

Very rarely is a baby sensitive to the liners. They have grey edged liners which have worked for most all sensitive babies.

It's cheaper yes. I love the g diapers because they can go either way and are colorful. Lol they fasten like disposables do with velcro. But the velcro hooks in the back instead of the front.

When I was considering cloth diapers I was going to get bumgenious. I thought they were better than g diapers :) might want to look at them. But for sure they are cheaper than disposable ones

Well we spent about 1,700 on diapers since my daughter was born a year and a half ago. We are wanting to use cloth diapers this time around. It's way cheaper and the g diapers I have heard are amazing. Just make sure you get the inserts and such. I breast fed her as well but just used a medela hand pump for storing the milk. You will want breastmilk storage bags as well. It's not bad to ask for any of that on a registry but the chances of getting it are slim.
