I want to have  3d scan when in 16 weeks to find out the gender early :) has anyone had a 3d scan dp u think they are worth it or is it bwtter to wait :)

Ive heard for gender checks it better to do 2d ultrasounds since 3d or supposedly more for facial features and stuff like that but idk how true that is

I also found out at 17 weeks with a 2d one. I'm sure they can tell you :]

I had one at 28 weeks and it was brill thy recommend between 28-30 so retakes can b made if baby is in awkward position.. at this stage baby has started to fill out and have more features than a baby at at 16.. u can have them in UK tho any time after you have had ur 12week hospital scan..I guess each 3d shop has there own opinion on when is best..

I believe my friend was told a boy at 13 weeks (not being a 3d one)
and it was TRUE.
so im pretty sure you can get an accurate result on it especially being 3d :)
they say you should wait 20 weeks
to give baby chance either their pipi to come out or
for the vagina to be formed
But you should try it :)

Honestly I would wait some places guarantee gender but I wouldnt want to be disappointed if they told me one sex and at 20 weeks they said other.

I know the place by me won't do a 3D scan till you're 26 weeks. But they can do a 2D scan at 16+ weeks.
