You don't need to dilate until your labour starts and your way way too early for that, you need to just try and relax, start taking raspberry leaf tablets, they help prep your cervix but don't put you in labour, my dr also said if you have sex regularly and walk regularly during your pregnancy your less likely to go over so maybe keep trying that too and push back your csection date, make it the last resort and give your body time to do what it needs to do
I've had two previous c sections that's why he has scheduled a third. I was originally told I could take EPO at 33 week's by a friend who used it thats why I started taking it last week but then I was told I should wait until 34 weeks (which I turned 34 weeks the day after being informed that). Does vaginally really increase this chances of it working better? I'm not sure if I really wanna insert them it sounds really uncomfortable lol
I have no experience with vbac but i started using evening primrose oil 4 days before i was scheduled to be induced. I was worried i would have to do manual dilating or gel.
I contribute thinning/dilating as quick as i did to the evening primrose oil. But your not supposed to take it until a certain week i think?
I would say once you reach the 'ok' week switch to doing vaginal & oral (what i did). Just lay down after inserting it and maybe wear a pad liner.
Is it the only reason why you have a schedules cs? I think 34 weeks is too early to decide. You have almost 6 weeks before your due date.
