Stressed! Advice please

There was another post with the same name as mine so I thought maybe it was infusing people so ok so I have a hold on an apartment so they can't rent it to someone else. It was supposed to be available June 8th to move in and now it's not available until like July 8th and I'm due June 30th! I am living with my grandma and she said we have to have out place before the baby comes. So I've been looking for somewhere that does month to month leases and I haven't had any luck. I know she wouldn't actually put us out on the street but I don't want to live here with here if she's even threatening!!!! Idk what to do should I look for another apartment all together??

She said we can stay but she has company coming the week after the apartment is ready so well be on the way. And if the baby comes early I'll feel bad waking them up on the middle of the night

If she wants you out of there you can get motel or hotel until the end of the month but idk how good that be? /:

Have you signed any paper work since, as you dont want to risk them extending it month after month after month, esp when you were told an initial date to move in by, and paid a deposit for it.   I would try look for somewhere else cause you don't want to be hanging on waiting on a place being ready when you're pregnant - moving is stressful enough, (I moved house at 36 weeks pregnant and it was tough) and you don't wanna be living in a place where you're getting threatened with being made homeless cause that's just as bad x

The apartment date got changed because the couple living there extended their lease by a month. We didn't sign any paperwork yet but just put a deposit on the apartment so it can't be given away to anyone else. I'm so stressed!!

Oh hun, that's horrible. I just went through a whole bunch of stress with moving and apartments and getting screwed  over, so I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this drama so close to your due date :( why won't the apartment be ready? Have you signed paperwork indicating that the apartment must  be ready for june 8th? I would definitely suggest looking for a different place, if they're jerking you around already who knows what it will be like later when you are there. Are they familiar with your situation? Can you talk to them and get them to go back to the original date?
