Ive been there before i had a missed miscarriage i saw my baby at 6weeks and then i had my 12 week scan but before my scan around 6-8weeks i nearly had sickness and i had every symptom of the pregnancy and then everythink went away straight away not long after I nearly throw up  with a missed miscarriage your symptoms will go straight away

They used an internal ultrasound thing on me until I was 12 weeks. Usually they can't see much with the other before because your baby is way too small. Don't worry you should be fine. BTW I am 28 weeks and I have had absolutely no symptoms besides being tired so that has nothing to do with it.

Get a second opinion. At 8 weeks i was still getting the wand up my woohaa also so maybe that could be a mistake on them. What is scary is the bright red blood :/ but i hope all is well. Please continue to update. A good friend of mine had an ectopic, then a miscarraige, and then a healthy baby girl. What is meant to be will be.

With a missed miscarriage you won't know you have no symptoms no bleeding or anything you still have all your pregnancy symptoms your body tries to hold on to the pregnancy even though the fetus is no longer living

If you didn't have an internal ultrasound then that could be why no heartbeat was seen you are still really early and like stated above some women don't see the heartbeat till 10 weeks

Oh they did it over your tummy? At 8 weeks I still had the wand shoved up my Vagina to hear the heartbeat. They didn't do it over the tummy until I was 13 weeks because they said it was too soon. Maybe it's just to early for you, every baby is different! Also dont dwell too much on the whole symptom thing some days you'll be fine and others you'll feel like crap again, pregnancy is so unpredictable.

U can still have signs of pregnancy after miscarriage. I miscarried at 8 wks w my very 1st pregnancy saw babys heart beat at 6w 6days at 8 wks 6 days had ultra sound and no heartbeat Dr said that baby only measured 8 wks so baby had been gone for almost a wk and I still had preg symptoms. I still had morning sickness bleeding gums and sore breasts I had no cramping or bleeding.. I will be praying for u that all is ok sometimes they can't see heart rate til 10 wks..  i will pray all is well! Get a second opinion for sure !

I asked about the symptoms not to prove that things are okay but to see if she has indeed had a miscarriage. It's not immediate of course but if she has stopped having symptoms than it adds to the likelihood that she had a miscarriage.

I seen the heart beat at 6 weeks and you can't use your symptoms to prove nothing is wrong even after a miscarriage you will have symptoms till your hcg count reaches zero

Are you still having symptoms such as nausea and tendernous in breasts? From what I heard bright red blood is cause for concern because it is new blood. When I was 8 weeks it was very easy to get the heartbeat.. Did you do an ultrasound or did you just use the handheld heart monitor?
