Well the results came back from my 24 hr urine test. Protein levels were extremely high so now my daughter is coming via c section April 30th instead of may 15th. Im so nervous! I have my daughter's bag packed already, but still need to pack mine. She will be born right at 37 weeks so does anyone have any specific things that helped them?? Im kinda lost right now. I have no idea what to pack!!

With csection n baby coming kinda early u might bestaying for gfive or six days.  Remember that when packing.  Also baby might be small so a small newborn outfit would be good for going home.  My hospital took pics so make sure baby has a cute outfit :) I hated hospital socks so slippers were nice to have for going to the bathroom cause ur feet might swell after surgery so socks aren't always comfy.  I also loved having lotion along.

Honestly,  I over packed both my bag and baby's bag.
All you need for baby is a car seat, mittens and going home outfit.  The hospital gave me extra diapers to take with and everything I needed for her.
I only used 2 changes of clothes for me, tooth paste/toothbrush and deodorant.  I was too sore to shower at the hospital and they provide bigger pads that you'll need. I kept my hair up the whole time. At that point, all you'll care about is comfort, sleeping and taking care of baby.  Maybe take your own pillow and blanket for extra comfort.

High protein in my urine means I have preeclampsia. Its serious and only way to treat it in late pregnancy is to have your baby. Im original c section date was may 15th but my levels are extremely high so doctor is taking her early. Normallevels are 28-141 mg in 24 hrs, mine were 372 mg. Preeclampsia isn't go for mom or baby if left untreated. My sister didndidn't know she had it till she went into labor at 33 weeks. She gained 50 lbs of water weight alone. Ended up having a heart attack at 16 because they didn't catch it in time. My son and dad both passed away from heart problems so she isn't taking any chances

I thought I had a little time to pack but I'm running out of time now. I repacked her bag already because I knew they supply diapers for her. I just want to be more comfortable there. Hospital beds suck

Just pack mittens for the baby and going home oufit, hospital provides everything for your baby. And pads for you. And of course comfy clothes, soap, shampoo & stuff for you.
