had my baby boy :)

Hi everyone just wanted to let you all know at 1:55am this morning I had my first baby a boy. He was born 36weeks and 1day and weighs 7 pounds so im kinda glad he was a tad early he he doing well but will stay in hospital for about a week to make sure he gets his feeding down pat before coming home :) I had him using gas and air and I think it really helped take the edge off the pain and give me something else to think about.  I also was having very bad back pain and I had strrile water injections they hurt sooo much iv never felt a pain like it before but the pain only lasts upto a minute and did help me alot in getting a bit more comfortable before the pushing really started but for other ftm those injections really do hurt! I ended up delivering him on the floor in a squatting position because gravity really helped get him out in the final stages. For my experience giving birth naturally is the most strangest experience iv ever been through but also the most rewarding at the end as its really just the beginning of our lives as a family :) Goodluck ladies with your labor and births all the best for the future :) p.s dont forget to breathe through contractions :p

Congrats on your blessing =)! Thank you for sharing your story! As a FTM I really enjoy reading stories like yours because it relaxes me a bit to hear successful birthing stories!
