My son is a little over a month, when he's awake and alert he doesn't really smile too much but in his sleep he smiles all the time, is there any myths to or old sayings to what it means if anything??

I too heard it was angels talking to the baby :).!! My daughter is such a happy baby as well...I'm so in love with her ha ha

I was always told it was gas in their bellies lol. Which in MY family meant us all laughing when seeing a smile while baby slept

Yea same here, it's just absolutely adorable. I'm Mexican so is my family and all the older woman, (my nanas) say it means that baby angels are talking to them so I was just curious of other old wives tales.

My son is 20 days old n he also smiles so much in his sleep i have tons of photos but its him sleeping n smiling. i get a smile here n there wen he is alert n i talk to him but not as much as wen he sleeps. i was told it was the face muscle reaction wen they sleep idk if its tru but i dnt care i love seeing the smiles **
