has any one been on metformin and got pregnant FAST???!!!

Okay so I recently found out I'm diabetic and have been put on the medicine metformin to help with my sugar, but when the doc put me on it she said GET BIRTH CONTROL because metformin majorly increases your chances of becoming pregnant, is anyone on metformin and become pregnany very easily? Also my last period was august 29th so I was fertile around September 11th to the 16th, I'm almost positive I ovulated on the 12th cause my discharge was clear and very stretchy, so me and my boyfriend had sex like everyday during my fertile days except like the last day or 2 and starting like 2 days ago I had some weird cramps right above the pubic area, they lasted two days and now they are gone, could this be implamation -pregnancy

The only way to know if it's because of a baby is to wait until your period is due and take a HPT.  good luck.  

p.s. the cramps could be ovulation pains

I've been on it about 2 months, but the past two days I been having weird cramps but they stopped today, and its way to early for my period and my period is always on time but they feel like light period cramps

I am also diabetic and i was put on metformin my cycles were also irregular i have been on metformin for 5mths and now my cycles are regular i got pregnant last mnth but had a miscarriage so yes it is very possible im hopin me and my hubby concieve after this cycle so good luck and baby dust to you hun!!

I am currently taking Metformin and Clomid as well as getting HCG shots. I have been taking Metformin since June and nothing yet....

I take metformin for PCOS and it does help induce ovulation so if you had sex around ovulation it's very possible.  It took my hubby and i almost a year after metformin to conceive but I have PCOS and we also did fertility treatments.
