I was so scared to take anything and still don't like it. But the cramping started gettingso bad about three weeks ago that I had to take something. I would check with your dr first but my dr told me that really the only thing is Tylenol. I hope you get some relief soon!
Personally, I don't like to take medicines unless I have to, but with my first pregnancy, I had awful headaches and 1 or 2 migraines. I would lay down in the room with no lights and would massage vicks vapor rub on my head and temples and close my eyes. I also would try to drink tons of water as well. I also went to a chiropractor, and that seemed to help as well. But definitely talk to your doc about what is safe to take during pregnancy. I hope they let up soon for you! I know it's no fun!!!
Try not to take anything in first trimester but after that Tylenol is ok or ur dr can give you a Rx. The ecedrin they are talking about is ok too. Also cold clothes on your head and drink a TON of water. Feel better
I would talk to your dr and see what your options are. I know you can take certain pain medications and nausea medicine. If it gets really bad you can go to the office and get a Demerol and phinagrin shot. I hope things get better.
Up your intake of water as well!!
You can take Excedrin Tension Headache, it contains no aspirin. Although it might not completley go away it will not be as bad.
