heart broken...

Went to the doctor today for check up on my er visits. He read the ultra sound report and gave me the worst news ever... my baby has attached to the outside of my tude just at the opening of my uterus. He told me the dangers when baby gets bigger that it could kill me.. he has scheduled me for an abortion next week.. I don't believe in abortions. I'm totally heartbroken? What do I do? Will I be able to have another baby? When? How will this mess with my head? I'm already in tears.

Are you saying the egg has implanted on the outside? Or is it just at the top of your uterus near the tubes.

I'm not sure how close/in to your tube it is but I've read of a few women actually letting it go and having the baby grow more so into the uterus than the tube. I hope everything works out for you hun, and if you have to terminate the pregnancy, it is NOT the same as a regular abortion, you need to be healthy for your babies when they come!!

Bless your sweet heart!  What horrible news. :(  I'm so glad you are getting a second opinion. This will help ease your mind. Who knows, there may be a way to give baby a chance.  If you do have to eliminate the pregnancy,  I hope they'll do it at a hosp so u can be sedated. I can't imagine having to go thru that.  I'm so very sorry. :(

Thanks everyone. I'm at another drs right now for the second opinion. Just waiting now. My mom keeps telling me everything happens for a reason.. but its making me really mad hearing this. Since finding out I've been doing a lot of research on abortion and I've already thrown up at the thought. I've already seen and heard my baby... this hurts so much

I am so sorry you have to go through this :( I can only imagine the pain that you are experiencing. Use the supports you have around you (family/friends etc) to help you through this difficult time. You will be able to have another baby after you heal and grieve the loss of this current baby. I wish you all the best, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
