heart burn help please

I have heart burn out this world and I don't know wat I can take that is baby safe. Can anybody help me and give suggestions please

Tums and Zantac for sure. If I drink milk and try to fall asleep (I always get heartburn in the middle of the night or as soon as I lie down) I end up waking up choking on acid reflux. Also, mint flavored liquid Maalox works wonders and it's fast. The consistency can just be a little harder to stomach lol.

Tums work wonders for me. And I don't know if I'd do milk. It is only temporary and for me, it makes it worse once it wears off! Might be just me though. Tums work just fine for me. I keep them on my nightstand. Lol.
