heart burn help

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and I have the worst heart burn its to the point were I wake up at lest 3 times a night with heart burn so bad that it hurts to swollow. I eat tums like its candy but there only lasting me maybe 30 minutes and I eat 2 of them at a time. I'm really getting frustrated now I need some help lady's or suggestions

Zantac! It has become my best friend and takes care of my heartburn for the rest of the night when I take it. It's amazing.
Dr won't really prescribe anything until you've tried everything over the counter that is safe during pregnancy.
Try the Zantac. I personally think it's a miracle in a bottle

I have this Same problem for DAYS now. It's excruciating. I've never had it this long. It's literally like fire in my throat. Ugh. I'm 24w. I should call my doctor.

I'm the type of person that eats anything and everything I have heart burn every day thou and ok I'll check with my doctor and see if she can give me something

Somtimes it's the food your eating that gives you heart burn. I narrowed it down to processed food (out of the box) things and fast food make my heart burn awful! I avoid both of those things at all cost. Try tracking your food and see when you get bad heartburn what you ate that day vs. A no heart burn day!

I'm 23 weeks too and my heartburn sounds similar to yours. I'm going to ask my doctor for a prescription for something that works better than the tums I think, maybe you could do the same

A glass of milk Also helps milk has become my best friend lol

Heard ginger tea is good for heart burn :)
