NO no no no no no no. There was a post about this yesterday dispelling all the pregnancy myths.
Heart Rate is not a determination of your baby's sex. HR can vary 130-170 (ish) given on the level of the activity of your baby at any given time. A resting heart rate will stay roughly along it's baseline but can increase with stretching, kicking and turning so HR could go for 134-178 in under 5 mins depending on how active your baby is at that given time.
How you carry your Bump is all down to how your body copes with the changes. That means that it doesn't matter of you carry high or low, all round or to the front - neither of these suggests that it is a boy or a girl.
It is the same with heartburn, nausea, early or later feeling of movements. Cravings as well do not indicate a gender. The only true way to determine the sex of your baby that is 100% i sto look between its legs when it is born!
well I'm 9 weeks and 1 day and (her) hr is 174 & she is already moving.. I want a little girl so bad, my parents were lied to.for six months about a baby girl on the way by my brothers ex girlfriend and mom went shopping crazy and found out no baby:( she was very disappointed would have been her first grand baby, so now that I'm pregnant one happy grandma to be.
Fast is supposed time be girl and slow boy, but mine was 175 early in the pregnancy which is considered very fast, and I'm having a boy, so it's a myth.
I don't think it determined the sex either... Supposed to be between 130-150 bpm in 1st & 2nd trimesters regardless of gender. In the 3rd they say girls have higher heart rate, boys have lower - but! By this time babies are having their own pattern of being up and sleeping/resting... Obviously during the resting period (which can be a couple of mins to 30-40 mins) the heart rate is slower, when they're awake and moving their heart rate raises for both boy and girl. So I'd say you can't apply any rules to it. U/s can tell the gender if you're lucky ;)
My baby had a high heartrate at the beginning its a girl
My baby had a fast heartbeat (I believe that's what they say a girl has) and I'm having a boy. It's just a myth.
No it is a myth. My Dr. Told me my baby's heart rate was 150 which is what a girls is supposed to be and boys are lower. She said that it isn't true tho. I'm having a boy.
