A tablespoon or so of apple cider vinegar in a little glass of water taste awful but works pretty good. Also eating pickles or drinking pickle juice helps because the acid breaks it up somehow.
Put a teaspoon of baking soda in a SHOT of water. It is nasty salty... but works in less than a minute. And is totally safe for baby: )
The first time I had heartburn I took Prilosec. It works wonders! It's a 24 hour medicine. I highly recommend it and it's safe during pregnancy.
