Talk to your doctor.  Zantac is safe. .. Gaviscon is safe. I also have had wicked acid reflux and these both are approved by my doctor

Mine has been especially bas. I tried Everything, even zantac and tums.  Nothing worked. Lately I'll drink a small glass of of water mixed with baking soda and it actually works for me. Tastes real gross and will make you burp.. but it might help.
