My son has always had such a high heartrate! I seriously thought for sure he was a little girl by that old wives tale.  At our first ultrasound we were 11 weeks 1 day and his heartrate was 174! The lowest it's been is 156! But we are 21 weeks tomorrow lol and it's always been high. Even when he is snoozing. This does work for some though. The higher a girl, the lower a boy. Like anything over 130 is a girl they say. Didn't hold true for my son though :) the Chinese gender predictor and the baking soda tests worked though! All around just fun to try and guess :)

Higher heart rate (150s/60s) is supposedly a girl, lower rates are supposed to be boys.  :) I'm pregnant with my first and my grandmother likes to pick on me that I'm having a girl because my last appointment had the FHR estimated at 156. None of us take much stock in it, but it's fun to speculate. ^_^

I was going to say not very many people believe in that on here -_- not worth posting but I know many mommas who determined there baby's gender by heart rate (:

I was just curious if anyone has any ideas. I know it's not for certain.

You can't determine the gender by the baby's heart rate.
