Outfit for Baby Shower

I'm stressing over this because my baby shower is in 2 weeks & I was thinking leggings with a cute top that will show off my baby bump. Well now I'm sitting here crying because my husband bought me some comfy columbian leggings that are stretchy & they look fashionable but now my husband tells me I look disgusting in them :'( like why didn't he tell me that 5days ago when I tried them on at the swapmeet. Ugh :'( & ive been looking for outfits on google & pintrest & when I show him he pretends to look or just looks away & says "Oh". Like I need his opinion so he won't tell me I look disgusting again in certain clothing..

I know :( my husband apologized & said I can wear whatever I like but when it comes to the actual shopping day he gets all stubborn & doesn't let me wear what I want. He does it all the time.. -.- It's been 2 months almost 3 since I haven't worn a cute short dress because he told me my bump looked cute in long dresses so he bought me 3 & didn't really let me choose last time. I hate it but I always want his opinion because I sometimes feel like I look decent & he sometimes says the opposite :/ I wish I had a friend to shop with instead of my husband sometimes because everytime we shop for clothes we argue because he hardly ever likes what I pick out but expects me to wear what he chooses out for me, I feel like a kid again.

I would say go with leggings and the top that's always cute. or you could go with a dress, whatever you decide I would recommend separating your bust from your baby bump, to accentuate the belly. there are so many different kinds of cute belts to choose from. if you do decide to go with the leggings make sure you choose a top that is long enough to cover most of your bum and go with a cute sandal instead of flat flats can make your already swollen feet look really wide. sorry your man was so rude about it, not nice! sometimes guys get frustrated when you ask them questions about things they don't really care about (fashion) lol

I'm 33 weeks and I'm having my baby shower in 2 weeks aswell! I'm stressing so much cus I feel like I look fat in everything I was thinking bout a long dress but I just feel so fat in everything !! I'm very sorry your bf said that. That was defenetly so not nessesary specially being pregnant and so sensitive. Ignore what everyone around you has to say . Your bump is beautiful and aslong as you feel beautiful don't worry about nothing else .

Very rude of him to say that but guys have the slightest clue as to how we feel & how sensitive we can be during this time. & to top it off, most of them have no idea what looks better anyhow. My shower is in a couole weeks as well so I went with my aunt the other day to find leggings & a top with no luck. I hate having this bump. But online found the perfect outfit at motherhood maternity for a great price. I'll be going to the store Wednesday.

Oh hell no. I am so sorry but nu uh he is being rude. I say if YOU like it and if YOU feel comfortable screw him and his opinion. There shouldn't be anyone strong enough to put you down like that. Honestly, sounds like he has an issue he can't figure out or he might be stressing over the fact that baby is due soon. But none of that matters because being a jerk has no excuse. Forget him and do YOU.

im sorry but that is so rude why would he even consider saying that to u a simple babe they look funny would be better then that but honestly dont stress about it my husbands not a good help in fashion either i say choose somthing u will be comfy in all day n if u feel beautiful then who cares what people think honestly legging and a nice shirt to show ur belly sounds wonderful ! Of a nice cute dress thats flowy in the belly area pintrest is great for those types of things goodluck girl!!
