I dont work a nd i get them. But man its hassle no lie. I hate it i moved states so im trying to apply agian but its taking time and im 37w3d and im so freakin getting worried. I hope u get em soon

If you are disabled or on bedrest? If you are disabled and unable to work your entire life you should be abled to get some assistance.

Have u talk to ur Dr about giving u a letter saying u can not work due to a medical issue dealing with ur clots ... Where i live it hard to get fs if u work im a single mom and when i went back to work i they lowed them an i had to fight to keep the little bit got ..im pregnant.now and wish i could work but i can't ... Don't feel like urn nothing or nobody everyone has there struggles and u getting Fs will help urn bf out

Ohh. Thanks yea that might e my misunderstanding. But my boyfriend makes enough to cover the major bills but we don't have enough for groceries so we were accepted. It would probably be easier if your boyfriend applied for it and put you as a person who can use them as well. Why doesn't your boyfriend apply??

I live in sunshines city me and my boyfriend were both working (until recently I got put on bed rest, and sent on early maternity leave) and have food stamps. I think she meant its harder to get stamps if you have have a job. Idk

I'm just confused by how sunshine said if you have a job you can't get foodstamps? Foodstamps were made for people who work their butts off but can't find money between bills to put food on the table. Not people who just won't get a job. -.-

In any state if you tell them you are stay at home mom and you went off your partners income but can't still can't provide them they are Matt you're automatically entitled to $200 plus tanif

She has stamps but won't get them til may 9th.. the government benefits are pain at times

What thesea says is exactly how it is in GA. They usually tell you why they didnt give you assistance. I live with my BF i just say I am a border and how much it cost monthly for me to stay and that I am responsible for my meals.

Its not required to have a job if you have a job you can't get them and I don't have parents I love with my bf

Well in maryland where it's actually very easy my boyfriend provides and they still told me I needed to apply for jobs and go take a class for job training. If you live with parents etc it shouldn't be hard for you to get a job and pay for a little bit of groceries. Life isn't free :( sadly

I don't have a job at the moment, and I have food stamps. Maybe it depends on your state, but it usually isn't that difficult.

All you need if u live with someone is a signed note that states you live there and need to provide your own food. Even if its your parents. They only go by the income of the people applying for food stamps.

If you don't make any money then you are living with your parents right? Yea they won't give it to you unless you have a job and still can't make enough and support yourself. Sorry

It shouldnt be hard if u have low income with ur Own place..or if u stay with someone else They will go by there income so if They make alot They might say no... But if ur over 22 tell them ur food is seperated u dnt eat together..

Getting any kind of assistance is surely a process and a pain in the ***. luckily all pregnant women in my state (pa) are entitled to health insurance but they have really specific guidelines for foodstamps etc. as a young mother i am really struggling after just recently losing my job and i cant even get it temporarily until i get back on my feet. if you are a mom or expecting a baby, try wic. they will provide mild bread formula etc for people who need it. You can also look up resources in your area such as food pantrys. there are a lot of resources and help out there for children and families that need it.. the more you know the better off you will be!
