Please tell me this is normal. I'm just under 18 weeks pregnant and have had a sore throat and bad cough for about a week. About 4 days ago I started getting pains in my lower abdomen every time I coughed that felt like something was stretching and now it's gotten to the point were I'm in excruciating pain and doubling over on the floor and feels like I'm tearing my stomach. I still feel the odd movement of my baby so I know he/she is still ok. I just can't stand this pain anymore

I had that every time I cough or sneezed. It was round legamint pain for me. None of use are doctors tho so it's probably best to  call yours.

Glad everything is okay. Are you drinking enough water? Staying hydrated is so important during pregnancy. Make sure you're getting at LEAST a liter of water a day.

Yes loads better thank u. I have also found out that it's round ligament pains so when I make any sudden movements like cough or sneeze the ligaments tighten really quick and causes quite abit of pain and in my case it's quite a lot of pain that leaves me on all fours on the floor. I really need to get rid of this cough. I think I will make an appointment with the doctor tomorrow to be on the safe side though. Thank u for all ur help x

Thank u for ur help. I will definitely give it a go. I really hope it does go away I've never felt pain like it.

If you can stomach, try a popcicle. It'll cool you off, and you'll have something in your belly. If that doesn't work and you're just full out sickies.... I'd check to see how your little one is.. In the ER.

Probably not the same scenario, but I found to be dehydrated... And coughing myself to throw up every five seconds literally.... So I went to the ER.

But, try that... If it doesn't clear... Go in.

I'm coughing that much that im making myself feel sick. My stomach just feels so sensitive

Are you... Throwing up? And just coughing a lot. I... (Weird) had the same thing happen to me, when I was about that time...

You may need to see a doc soon or go to emergency room to be on safe side for yu and the unborn.
