my bottle of prometruim says take 1 daily for days 14-28.  After 7 days my period started! Do I still need to continue to take it for the next 7 days??

That is sort of what I was thinking - that it would be a waste to continue to take them.  I mean if it only takes 7 pills then I could use it for 2 months at the cost of 1 you know.  to k10 - I am sure it wasn't implant bleeding :(( I on day 5 of bleeding so I am sure it's a period.

I was put onto prometrium because of not ovulating. After all the research I did and re-asked my Dr. I was only to take 1 pill a day when I go to bed for 10 days. I got my period on the 10th day. I'm assuming if you get it sooner you can continue on taking it but I would think it would be a waist.

I would continue to take it as prescribed.  It is possible that you are having implantation bleeding if it started around day 21, and you would not want to stop taking it if that was the case.  If you are really bothered by continuing to take it, I would contact your doctor.  But I would NOT stop taking it unless your doctor approves of it.
