From my experience from my first baby, my contractions started with a dull pain in my back that traveled to the front. It wasn't a one sided pain. Every woman is different and so is every pregnancy. Of the pain doesnt go away and it's been a good hour or so after walking for a bit, changing position, etc you ahould probably call the dr.
I would suggest that you request your Dr checks you for BV (bacterial vaginosis) I'm a first time mommy so I'm a frequent caller for anything I feel is a little strange. I was experiencing the same thing at 22 weeks and was sent to the hospital to get monitored. They diagnosed me with irritable uterus which was my uterus hardening. They weren't contractions but they further tested me to find what was causing it and it ended up being BV. I'm thankful they found it since a lot of woman don't have symptoms but it causes pre mature labor if untreated. So they had me on antibiotics. I haven't been back in since so I don't know if the antibiotics got rid of it or not. Worth a shot to get tested though.
So this possibly can be contrations?
With braxton hicks I usually feel my whole stomach contract. I can feel it get really tight from the inside. Mostly uncomfortable but no pain.
Idk if my stomach got hard when I had the pain but it was a sharp pain it hurt so bad I couldn't even walk. Mainly on my right side.
