So, i am pregnant with mine and my husband's second child. They found some medical issues between our fc birth and this lo. Who else has experianced a high risk birth and what is the main difference between a regular pregnancy and a high risk?

I'm high risk due to preeclampsia, and I'll be getting induced at 37 weeks as long as all goes well until then. I think the main thing is they just watch you more! I'm at the hospital for monitoring twice a week and have appointments once a week.

I'm a high risk as 2nd pregnancy with preeclamplsia and early onset this time. Dr explained it means that they believe there is the potential to deliver before 38wks, in my case any time between now and 36wks, but lots of high risk still make it to 40wks as long as the risk is managed therefore a lot more monitoring. Wishing you lots of luck!

I am high risk because birth control with estrogen in it makes me have high blood pressure.  So far all my levels have been perfect but I go to the doctor every two to three weeks and get an ultrasound at the hospital once a month. Almost 25 weeks with our first baby.

The difference is that you will be watches more and so will your baby. I'm at high risk because they found a tumor on my babies tailbone/butt area. I'm only 14 weeks so its more complicated but I'm leaving this in God's hands because he is the only person that can work miracles. I pray everything will be okay.

High risk isnt necessarily always BAD , just means they want to take extra precautions with you and keep a closer eye on your unborn . Main difference is you'll probably spend more time with doctor vists and hospital stays. They're watching you lol ..
