hip pain!

okay I can't take this, my doctor, well substitute doctor said my hip pain probably doesn't have anything to do with the pregnacy...I didn't have this problem until I got pregnant! but he just nodded his head and left -_- sooooo my question is, is there anything that would help this pain, its to the point where I almost fall and I can't move or get off of the couch, chair or bed. I know its just going to get worst but I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to catch myself and my hip gives out completely, I'm worried about falling and about the baby. The baby is normally on my left (my bad hip now) and I don't know if he's on a nerve but it doesn't feel like it...not for 5 months in the same spot every day. I'm 21w2d. Please help I need advice! I tried a pillow between my legs and it works for the night but the next day its the same story again.

I have the exact problem and my bad hip is my left one and my dr didn't say anything back to me when I told him he just nodded his head. I also just deal with it though.

thank you ladies mine started at approximately  6 weeks but wasn't this bad, I've been walking and it helps a lot! it just feels like my hip is very tight and doesn't want to move, I was afraid to go to a chiropractic even tho I desperately need it haha, I didn't know if it was okay to go while pregnant but you ladies helped me so much I'm going to call my actually doctor and see if she could give me on some information on a chiropractor or a gym that won't cost me crazy amount of money a month

I have the exact the same problem! Constant pain on my left hip! Especially in the mornings it's really painful. I find that the cycling helped! I go to gym and cycle on a low level for 15-30mins and it helped me to ease the pain. I never had any hip pain before pregnancy! I am 12weeks  now and it started when I was only 7weeks pregnant.

Muscle rub or heating pad is what I have used. It is bc of pregnancy your body releases a hormone thatloosens your ligaments. Your dr isnt very good. My dr suggested pregnancy yoga the ststretching can help..goodluck its part of pregnancy.

you might have symphysis pubis dysfunction,  I also have it and my hips and pelivc area are in pain 24-7. didnt hsve these pains before the baby, sadly there isn't much you can do if thats the case. a maternity belt helps aloooot but pain is still there.

Im 31+3 with second boy...and I have had the hip pain pretty much the whole time...my doctor and I agreed.it was just my body adjusting for baby...he recommended physical therapy and or a chiropractor...of course I haven't had the time to do either ...but eventually I started getting a day or two here and there that it doesn't hurt as bad...hope something works for you
