I'm kinda in a difficult situation I just moved to a new state, and they don't take my insurance here! I'm 32 weeks pregnant ftm!  It's very expensive to see the doctor without insurance!  I'm going back home and will be seen at 34weeks!  But after that I'm not sure what i should do!  I cannot afford to go to the doctors and I have applied for Medicaid it's been two months and still nothing!!  I have thought about going back home for the delivery, but I have no idea when I will be delivering and I want my husband there, he needs to work tho! Plus I no it's important I been seen weekly to make sure my baby is healthy!  Does anyone have any opinions on what I could do??  Is there any other insurances I can apply for? That would be cheaper than not having insurance?  Or should I just go to the doctors here without insurance? I ljust moved to north dakota

I would be too afraid to do it in case something happened and we needed to be at the hospital.

I'd love to do a home birth but my insurance doesn't cover it so it's not happening lol but my auntie had 3 successful home births, the last was just last year. She absolutely loved it and wouldn't give birth any other way. They only let you do it if your pregnancy is low risk and midwives are experts at delivering babies and keeping you calm and comfortable during labor. If you can do it go ahead, I think it's awesome:)

I'm definitely afraid to do that. It's brave of you to consider it. And it helps to watch YouTube videos about home births
