pap test
Ok so I just got my pap test results back and it said it was negative but it was hpv positive? Has this happend to anyone else? Im worried now

Yes most women get it. Most women never even know they have it because the immune system fights it off usually within 2-3 years. Very rarely it can progress and become cervical cancer. This takes atleast 10 years without it being treated. With it being caught its 100 percent curable if it did decide to progress rather than regress. Odds are your immune system will fight it off. I had it and a year later it was totally gone.
