Mom's Bag: Camera and camera charger, snacks for you and your husband or change for vending machine, nipple cream if nursing, nursing pads, nursing bra, hair ties, ChapStick, deodorant, makeup remover or lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, socks, granny panties, maxi pads, nursing tank top or nursing dress for easy access if breastfeeding, loose fitting clothing if you have a c section so your stitches don't get pulled.
Baby bag: baby memory book to get baby's footprint in ink, pen to write with, Newborn diapers just incase, wipes, diaper cream, burp cloths, swaddle blanket, receiving blanket, a few new born outfits, new born cap
Husband: change of clothes in case you have to spend the night, entertainment like laptop or phone, chargers, hospital paperwork, birth plan and copies to give to nurses, health insurance cards, put husband in charge of phones, keys, wallets. Snacks
Install car seat, have full tank of gas in car, feed pets before you leave.
For baby I packed a 3 pack of onesies with the matching pants, hats, mittins, socks & shoes also headbands with the matching recieveing blankets & soft blanket. I also packed her a cute dress with matching headband to take pictures in & a minnie mouse onesie to go home in. Also packed her some pacifiers since the hospital provides the premade bottles & diapers. For me I packed the travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash & face wash, body scrubber & toothbrush with toothpaste. I packed a brush, q-tips, my own towel, pads, hemmroid wipes, comfy underware & bra also a gown with slippers & also a going home outfit. Yes I also am going to bring my makeup & hair straightener because that's how I am & I want nice pictures lol
If you're going to breastfeed bring a nursing bra.. comfy granny panties (a couple pair), possibly a robe, toiletries, a comfy outfit to go home in.
Well pack at least 2-3 sets of baby clothes, Binkies/pacifiers, bottles (if need be), baby blanket, receiving blanket. And for you, pack 2-3 sets of clothes (I packed pjs), nursing bras (if your gonna breast feed), slippers, pads (if the hospitals aren't thick enough for you), and the toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, razor, body wash, tooth brush, toothpaste, extra phone charger, watever else you think you might need)
