Didn't have mine packed and I was induced at 37+6. Bag was on the bed unpacked. Didn't feel any signs of labor but I was dilated 3cm at my check up that day and baby's heartbeat had an irregular rhythm. I'm a procrastinator by the way.
I'm still working on it at 37+4 lol. But, I'm not showing any signs of labor yet. I'm just waiting so I can pack my tooth brush and tooth paste. Overall it's pretty set up.
I packed mine this week I'm 35w+ 3d
To all mommies. Its best to pack the bag any where from 30 weeks to 32 because at any given moment then your baby is safe and you can go into labor. I actually had 2 bags. 1 in the trunk of the car and 1 at home. I'll be packing my next one sooner than later.
Im 38+3 and just packed my bag today
I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow and I haven't packed my bag lol but I do have my baby boy's bag packed.
I started packing mine around 34 weeks but didn't finish til 36. We've got a hospital outfit, photo outfit, and going home outfit along with a 0-3 outfit just incase. Her hairbows, pacifier, 2 recieving blankets, diapers and wipes just in case we dont go right home. I have two pairs of shorts, tank tops, under garments, and a robe. And all toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, make up, brush, toothbrush and paste, straightener. Fiance has two pairs of basketball shorts, shirts, and an undershirt along with under garments. And we packed snacks just incase. Little sandwich bags of trail mix and a few fruit snacks. And I'm also bringing my nursing pillow. I probably way over packed but better safe than sorry! (:
I didn't pack til 38 weeks
Pack sooner rather than later, I was totally unprepared for labour at 32 weeks lol thought I had loads of time left to prepare (how wrong I was)
Normally pack around 32 weeks. I actually wait til I feel its time soon. I am doing mine today. from previous times I hospital I normally don't pack myself pajamas cause hospitals get cold at night so I pack sweat pants instead. your going to want to bring stuff for showers and obviously brushing your teeth. 3 outfits of newborn size and 3 for 0-3 just incase baby is big.
in canadian hospitals we don't have to pack any formula wipes or pads cause they provide but you might want to call your hospital and ask them when they provide. they also normally provide our panties after too cause they have to be quite large to hold our after labor diapers lol not actually diapers just feel like it.
