how could i have gotten pregnant while on my period?

According to my ultra sounds my baby is due march 25, but counting back 40 weeks from that puts me at getting pregnant the 3rd day of my last period....?

U can but it is highly unlikely. Maybe if you have a really short menstral cycle or really long periods. Ur most fertile days 12-16 on your cycle (1st day of period to the next first day of period) so u could get preg when ur starting to bleed depending on your cycle.

Hang on, ill rephrase. You can get pregnant from SEX during your period. Whether or not the sperm travels to the egg DURING your period I cant say. Since the actual meeting of sperm and egg can happen 2-7 days after, I personally cant attest to whether or not THAT can happen while bleeding.

You CAN get pregnant during your period. Just putting that out there. Do some research, you are actually most fertile then, and also days surrounding your period. I was still bleeding the only day I could have possibly conceived. I had a one night stand, and returned to not having sex after, then realized a few days later I was pregnant.  I promise, WILDER things have happened.

You didn't get pregnant on your period, you got pregnant after! Your 40 weeks starts the first day of last period,  so you aren't pregnant YET for the first two weeks. If u have this app on ur phone go to weeks 1,2, n 3 n read what it says

You can still get pregnant while on your period, sweetie. That's why it's still important to wear condoms even then if you want to try and avoid an accident. Having your period does not mean it's safe.

It's possible, but probably your baby is measuring a couple days bigger or smaller

The 40weeks start the first day of your last period,  conception is usually about 38 weeks before your due date.  Make sense?
