I take target brand gummy prenatals they sometimes go on sale for buy one get one free. I shop there or Wal-Mart and use the savings catcher which has saved me 20 dollars in 5 months. Other than that use coupons. Ebay some items that might be worth some money. Coupons! coupon apps. Only buy necessities. U dont really need a lot for baby. Just a crib maybe from craigslist and formula diapers few outfits bottles etc. If u dont need a stroller dont buy one.
Kids are expensive. Save as much as you possibly can. And as for vitamins, the ones the doctor prescribes are the giant pills that you swallow and idr how much they are. Not much, depending on your insurance. I'm pretty sure I had a $7 copay for them with my first baby. But I have been taking the gummys this time around. The only thing is the gummies don't have iron, unlike the pills, so you have to take iron too so you don't risk becoming anemic.
I use flintstone gummy vitamins because i can swallow the horse pill prenatal vitamins. To save up i started a savings account when i got my job and saved money everyweek. I would say save up as much as you can and keep saving because you never know when your going to run through a ruff patch and need extra formula, diapers or wipes.
