how do you count the gestation age of the pregnancy after miscarriage?

given that i had a miscarriage last sept 6, 2010, last two weeks ago, i had a positive result of pregnancy test. i havent got my period back from miscarriage, and it's almost two months. how do you count the gestation age then?

I know, I was actually advised to wait until 3 cycles. But she also told me that i'll be pregnant if it's meant to be.. lol.. I'm really excited to have a baby.. :)

it is really confusing.. lol..
anyway, usually they count it from the last day of the cycle eh?
since i missed my period.. anyway, yeah i think i should have an ultrasound then.. :)

They use your miscarriage as your last period. Usually this is why they recommend allowing one cycle inbetween. Ultrasound will also confirm gestation.

you will need to go see your local GP and ask for blood tests and ultrasound ect, they will give you all the information through that!
