how far along am i??
So i worked out that i was 10weeks (counted from first day of last period)
Had the dating scan today and found out im only 8 weeks and 4days. Confusing!

The ultrasounds measure the baby at it's gestational age not from when you had your last period. I am 33 weeks pregnant but my baby is only in it's 31st week of gestation. I have regular cycles so I ovulated exactly 2 weeks after my period, hence the two week gap between my pregnancy age and gestational age. Hope that helps!
Pregnancy dates can vary by 2wks, sepending on length of cycle, what day the sperm actually hit the egg, etc. Since you're right around 2wks off id say theres no problem at all. An ultrasound is the BEST way to date a pregnancy. The embryo cant lie.
