how long do you have to wait to bathe after delivery?

I was wondering, after delivery, how long do i have to wait to bathe?

I showered about 2 hours after birth when my epidural wore off my sister had to help though because my legs was still a little numb

I showered about 2 hours after birth.  They took my iv out first.

I showered the next day

I went in the 22nd and had to wait until the afternoon of the next day. I had to sleep with my IV in all night in case I needed more fluids and such the next morning. I didnt so they took it out and could finally shower with help from my husband.
