parent issues......need advice please

My mom always talks bad about my bf even tho she doesnt even know him. I dont want to tell her she got a charge like 3years ago because I feel like now she will have a reason to talk and she's already giving me a hard time with this whole pregnancy situation. I dont have anywhere to go, I dont have even a single item for my baby because we are having a little rough patch till. So what do y'all ladies think I should do? Any advice will be helpful thanks

Let her express herself. If the father is good to you and will be good to your baby she will realize that what she was saying wasn't nessecary. Your mom is probably just hurt at the moment. I know it is tough listening to our parents complain all the time but play it smart and be the bigger person and don't argue. If it bothers you enough you could try speaking to her civilly. If it doesn't work then just keep playing it smart (meaning don't be nasty to her even if she is with you since you do after need her help at the moment and your baby needs mommy to be calm at all times). When your mom meets the baby she will most likely change a little more. (Crossing fingers)
